Surat Municipal Corporation starts recovery of Rs 46 cr property tax from Reliance, BSNL

Surat: Three professionals were robbed of cash and valuables in three different areas of the city on Sunday.Four unidentified robbers in Udhna robbed Pratik Sarda, a deputy manager in leading private bank. Sardawas returning home from railway station after arriving to the city from Mumbai on June 24 night. The driver took the auto towards Udhna Road number 6 and stopped at an isolated location near Mahindra showroom, where one of the passengers robbed him of his cash and cellphone at knife point. He boarded a shared autorickshaw in which three passengers were already there. In the second incident, assistant professor at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Janki Mistry, was robbed of her purse containing Rs 7,000 cash and two mobile phones worth Rs 82,000 near V R Mall on Dumas Road by three robbers.The third case was reported from Jahangirpura Dabholi bridge where Dr Rajvi Gohil was robbed of her cellphone by two robbers.
