Surat: Half-naked body of a 25-year-old carpenter was found dumped in the bushes of an open plot on Pandesara-Althan Road on Sunday.Police also found a steel ring on private part of the deceased, identified as Sonu alias Vishwakarma, whose pant and underwear were also missing. Police are investigating about the steel ring found on his private part. As the ring was found on private part and trousers were missing, police strongly suspect the crime to be a fallout of some sexual relationship. His phone call records are also being examined,” said Pandesara police.Police are also checking if he had an affair with some woman or sexual relationship with some men. “We are trying to find out if he had some disputes with anyone.

Vishwakarma was living in Pandesara and had left the house on Saturday informing that he was going to the gymnasium.Postmortem examination revealed that Vishwakarma was strangulated to death with some wire. Police are investigating about the steel ring found on his private part. “We are trying to find out if he had some disputes with anyone.
