Surat: Two persons were booked at Limbayat police station on Sunday for allegedly murdering a 25-year-old man over suspicion of an affair near Rangila Nagar vegetable market on Saturday midnight.The deceased had come to meet the accused and later a fight started between them resulting in his death. Police also registered a complaint by the accused against the deceased and his aide for assaulting him.Vaibhav Gadekar and his brother-in-law Hitesh Sorte were booked by police for murdering Nilesh alias Galiyo Chaudhary. In the counter-complaint lodged by Gadekar, police booked deceased Chaudhary and his associate Samadhan Gavthi for an attempt to murder him.Chaudhary and Gavthi arrived near the Rangila Nagar vegetable market at around 12 midnight on Saturday when they were allegedly attacked by Gadekar and Sorte with sharp-edged weapons. Chaudhary sustained serious stab wounds all over his body and died on the spot.Gadekar alleged in his complaint that he was sitting at the spot with Sorte when Chaudhary and Gavthi arrived there armed with weapons. Chaudhary wanted to discuss some issues with Gadekar but the latter refused. There was an argument between them and both attacked each other with sharp-edged weapons. Gadekar too sustained stab wounds all over his body.Police investigation revealed that Gadekar suspected that Chaudhary was having an affair with his wife. They had fought over the issue in the past as well. "The accused in the murder is currently under treatment. He will be arrested once he is discharged from hospital," police said.
