THANE: The Thane traffic police have slapped a notice on the proprietor of a CNG gas station at Khopat claiming that the indiscriminate queuing up of autos is obstructing the driveway for other vehicles and causing vehicular congestion on internal city roads.The owner of the gas station has been warned by traffic cops that they will recommend the Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) to cancel his license should he fail to regulate the autos that sometimes queue up in double line making the road narrower for traffic movement.“The jam affects traffic flow on Eastern Express Highway and internal city roads, which connect Khopat. If this problem persists, then we will report the problem to the concerned authorities, who issue license to CNG stations and request them to cancel it,” said deputy commissioner of police (traffic), Amit Kale.“More than 2,000 autos from Kalwa and Mumbra line up here everyday.
