'Robber' gets life for killing his aide

THANE: A 36-year-old man was sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his accomplice during a robbery bid in 2013. But Bhartiya slowed down the vehicle due to traffic, following which Patil fired at him. Patil asked Bhartiya, who was driving, to speed up. A fine of Rs 30,000 has also been imposed on the accused, Sanjay Patil.According to the prosecution, Patil and Pradeep Bhartiya were in a car planning to rob a cash van ahead of them.
