Thiruvananthapuram: Ten long-distance trains, operating via Shoranur, will skip the station from April , 2019. Thiruvananthapuram division of Southern Railway declared the change in operation to improve punctuality.The change will be in effect from April 1, 2019 for train no.12521 Barauni-Ernakulam Raptisagar weekly express, train no. 22645 Indore–Thiruvananthapuram Ahilyanagari weekly express, train no. 13351 Dhanbad–Alappuzha daily express, train no. 13352 Alappuzha–Dhanbad daily express and train no 22648 Thiruvananthapuram–Korba bi-weekly express.The change will be in effect from April 2 for train no 12512 Thiruvananthapuram–Gorakhpur Raptisagar tri-weekly express and from April 3, for train no 22647 Korba-Thiruvananthapuram bi-weekly express.From April 4, change will be in effect for train no. 12511 Gorakhpur–Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar tri-weekly express. It will be in effect from April 5 for train no 12522 Ernakulam – Barauni Raptisagar weekly express and from April 6 for train no 22646 Thiruvananthapuram–Indore Ahilyanagari weekly express.Railways has provided additional stoppage of train no 13351 Dhanbad–Alappuzha daily express at Ottapalam and Wadakancheri railway stations at 1.48pm and 3.15pm respectively and train no 13352 Alappuzha–Dhanbad daily express at Wadakancheri and Ottapalam railway stations at 8.40am and 10.16am.
