Trial in one more solar scam case ends

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The additional chief judicial magistrate court – who heard the final arguments in one of the solar scam cases – is likely to pronounce judgment on February 13.The case pertains to a petition filed by NRI businessman T C Mathew alleging that Saritha S Nair and Biju Radhakrishnan duped him after taking a sum of Rs 1.05 crore as investment in a solar panel business scheme.He then claimed that he gave money to Saritha and Biju Radhakrishnan for investment purposes as they were close to the then chief minister Oommen Chandy .
