PM Narendra Modi in Jaipur today to raise the poll pitch in Rajasthan

Special seating arrangements have been made for beneficiaries while others have to occupy the seating in the back. Multiple visits were made to the venue by BJP leaders and state government representatives to oversee the arrangements. "I am excited to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi in real for the first time," said Yadav.BJP minority morcha members were given separate targets to bring community members to the rally. The PM will also lay the foundation stone for 13 urban infrastructure projects worth Rs 2,100 crore.

JAIPUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday will set the tone for the forthcoming assembly elections in the state during a mega rally at Jaipur's Amrudon Ka Bagh on Saturday.Modi is expected to address a gathering of over two and a half lakhs beneficiaries of 12 schemes of both the state and the centre. For the ruling BJP, which has not had a favourable election year till now, the rally is a platform to showcase its strength and an attempt to kick off the election campaign on a grand scale. The PM will also lay the foundation stone for 13 urban infrastructure projects worth Rs 2,100 crore. The prominent projects include integrated infrastructure package for Udaipur, elevated road for Ajmer , water supply and sewerage projects in various districts like Dholpur , Nagaur, Alwar , and Jodhpur.BJP state party incharge Avinash Rai Khanna said that state is ready to roll out red carpet for the PM.“I have no doubt that event will create new benchmark of success in the state. This will turn out to be a historic moment,” said Khanna.More than 5,000 buses carrying beneficiaries of welfare schemes including Bhamashah, Mudra, Ujjwala and others would be arriving in the state capital on Saturday, forcing the traffic department to issue advisories and schools to remain shut on Saturday.A lot of effort has been put in to make the event a grand success with the entire state machinery, ruling party’s organisation and the state government spending a hectic week making preparations for it. Four sections were made for the beneficiaries in the front.Ram Yadav’s family, a beneficiary of Ujjwala Yojana in Tonk, has been asked to report at Tonk Bus stand at 6 am in the morning.
