After nine days of absence monsoon is here again

JAIPUR: Almost after 9 days the monsoon rains returned to Rajasthan especially in the southern parts of the state. “There is possibility of a drop of almost four degree Celsius in the minimum and maximum temperatures across the state on Wednesday,” said an officer. However, in the evening mild to moderate showers were witnessed at many areas of the city. The afternoon was cloudy yet sunny and it appeared that Jaipur might be deprived of rainfall. People in the pink city after witnessing cloudy conditions throughout the day witnessed some rainfall on Tuesday evening.Many parts in the state including in Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Udaipur and Jhalawar witnessed mild to moderate showers.

People in the pink city after witnessing cloudy conditions throughout the day witnessed some rainfall on Tuesday evening.Many parts in the state including in Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Udaipur and Jhalawar witnessed mild to moderate showers. Rainfall varying from 60 mm to 10 mm was witnessed at several villages and cities across the state.People in the city were eying on the sky since morning on Tuesday. The afternoon was cloudy yet sunny and it appeared that Jaipur might be deprived of rainfall. However, in the evening mild to moderate showers were witnessed at many areas of the city. People living in the localities including Jhotwara, Murlipura, Harmara, Bani Park witnessed good rainfall while areas including Bapu Nagar, Raja Park, Sanganer, Mansarover and Jagatpura received rain that lasted for mere minutes.Jaipur Met office said that light to moderate rainfall will take place at many areas in eastern and other parts of the state in the next 24 hours.Since majority of the places witnessed monsoon rainfall in the evening it did not impact the maximum temperatures which were on and above 40 degree Celsius, officials of the Jaipur Met office said that it will impact Wednesday’s minimum and maximum temperatures. “There is possibility of a drop of almost four degree Celsius in the minimum and maximum temperatures across the state on Wednesday,” said an officer.
