Phone explodes 60yearold burnt alive in Chittor

UDAIPUR: Keeping mobile phone inside the vest proved fatal for a 60-year-old man in Netavalgarh Pachhli village in Chittorgarh who was burnt alive after the phone exploded.Kishore Singh forgot to take out his mobile phone from his vest pocket and went to sleep on Friday night. By the time his wife could understand anything, the man was burnt to a great extent.He was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. An accident case has been lodged at Kotwali police station. Around 2.30am, he woke up to urinate.

Around 2.30am, he woke up to urinate. As he came back in the room, suddenly the mobile phone exploded with a huge sound and his clothes were in flames. By the time his wife could understand anything, the man was burnt to a great extent.He was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. His family told the police that two months ago Kishore Singh had brought the mobile connection and device under the state government’s scheme and paid 1,100 for it.The body was handed over to the family members after autopsy. An accident case has been lodged at Kotwali police station.
