Showers likely at many places in 24 hours: Met

A minimum temperature of 13.0 degree Celsius was recorded in the city and was followed by a maximum temperature of 24.0 degree Celsius in the afternoon. JAIPUR: Fog in the morning at many parts in the state was followed by cloudy conditions on Tuesday. Though there was a relief from the shivering cold conditions, the fog and mist in the morning affected air, road and rail traffic. However from Saturday onwards the mercury will take a dip across the state. Fog and mist also affected the air, road and rail traffic.At least six early morning flights from Delhi landed and took off late in the morning from the Jaipur airport.

JAIPUR: Fog in the morning at many parts in the state was followed by cloudy conditions on Tuesday. Though there was a relief from the shivering cold conditions, the fog and mist in the morning affected air, road and rail traffic. Alwar remained coldest in the state where a minimum temperature of 9.0 degree Celsius was recorded, the met reports said.Attributing the foggy and cloudy conditions to the active western disturbances, the Jaipur Met office said that mild showers will occur at a few places in the northern and eastern parts of the state in the next 24 hours.Jaipurities woke up to a comparatively warmer morning amidst cloud cover. A minimum temperature of 13.0 degree Celsius was recorded in the city and was followed by a maximum temperature of 24.0 degree Celsius in the afternoon. Fog and mist also affected the air, road and rail traffic.At least six early morning flights from Delhi landed and took off late in the morning from the Jaipur airport. A few diversions were also been witnessed in the morning.On the other hand at least 12 early morning Jaipur and Jodhpur bound trains were running late due to heavy fog in neighbouring Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.Likewise the buses on the Jaipur-Delhi, Jaipur-Agra and Jaipur-Churu were moving in slower pace due to poor visibility on the highways.Alwar was followed by Jaisalmer where a minimum temperature of 9.8 degree Celsius, Sriganganagar 10.3, Churu 11.2, Bikaner 11.5, Jodhpur 11.9, Barmer 12.3, Ajmer 13.0, Udaipur 13.6 and a minimum temperature of 15.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Kota.Dense fog cover was also been witnessed in Churu, Sriganganagar, Bikaner and Hanumangarh during early morning and late evening hours.Mild showers were also been witnessed in some parts of northern and eastern Rajasthan in the evening.In its forecast Jaipur met office said that cloudy conditions and fog at some places would be witnessed in the northern and eastern parts of the state in the next 24 hours. However from Saturday onwards the mercury will take a dip across the state.
