JAIPUR: Udaipur district administration will be reaching out to the doors of the tribals living in remote areas of the district who are not able to approach the authorities for their work. The initiative named as “Gatiman Prashasan” will start from February 6, 2019, in which the administration will travel in a bus that will make rounds of the regions and meet people directly.The initiative was first started in 2011 by then district collector Hemant Gera. After him none of the collectors took interest. The current Udaipur collector Anandhi has started this initiative again and the bus will start from Atal Sewa Kendra of Lamba Haldu of Kotra block from Wednesday. Anandhi said, “The bus service will be helpful in reaching out to people who otherwise have no access to the government facilities. Most of them are ignorant towards the policies that government has launched for them. This will be a positive effort in reaching out to them.”This special designed mobile bus is well equipped with computers, printers, UPS, Generator, CVT, microphones and LCD Screen has been displaced on the back side of the bus for IEC of government schemes. The bus has a special designed registration counter on which grievances will be resolved on the spot.First, the applications will be registered and then transferred to concerned officer present in bus for quick disposal. Mainly, officer of public dealing department viz. Revenue, Medical and Health, Social Justice and welfare, rural development, panchayati raj, education, women development, electricity, agriculture, animal husbandry, supply department will resolve grievances on the spot.
