Raju is an agriculturist who revived the dying artwork of constructing wood toys among the many craft neighborhood of Etikopakka. He focused on strengthening the native information of constructing vegetable dyes, creating new instruments and methods for growing their shelf life and producing new makes use of for them.

The neighborhood during this time had round 150 households who practise the craft type. The wood is sourced from domestically grown ankudu or Wrightia tinctoria bushes.
