Another milestone achievement of Nehru Govt; Panchsheel Agreement signed between India and China

India and China relations are at a new historical starting point with the 60th anniversary of the Panchsheel Agreement. The Panchsheel Agreement was supposed to be the bedrock of an eternal friendship between the two nations but bilateral relations have certainly deteriorated in the recent times.

The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is India's premier nuclear research facility based in Tarapur and Trombay, Mumbai, Maharashtra. BARC is a multi-disciplinary research center with extensive infrastructure for advanced research and development covering the entire spectrum of nuclear science, engineering, and related areas.

Chittaranjan Locomotive Works is a state-owned electric locomotive manufacturer based in India. It is located at Chittaranjan in Asansol in West Bengal. It is one of the largest locomotive manufacturers in the world. The manufacturing unit was established at a place close to the Chittaranjan railway station.

When instituted in 1954, the Padma Bhushan was classified as "Dusra Warg" (Class II) under the three-tier Padma Vibhushan awards; preceded by the Bharat Ratna.

The 1st Filmfare Awards were held on March 21, 1954, honoring the best in Hindi cinema in 1953. That year they were known as Clare Awards, after Clare Mendonca, film critic of The Times of India who had died in the same year. The ceremony was compared by actor David, and it started with actress Nalini Jaywant singing the national anthem.
