Agra: The trauma centre at SN Medical College (SNMC) here, which is facing a shortage of nurses, will soon be able to avail of nursing service outsourced from other agencies. The procedure will be completed within one and a half months.Giving details, spokesperson at the principal’s office Dr Shailendra Chaudhary said that nursing service will be outsourced to a private company. The other departments at SNMC are also short of nurses. At present, around 133 nurses are on its rolls whereas medical college requires around 500. A decision to the effect was taken recently.According to officials at the SNMC, a tender will be issued in this regard and after that contract will be awarded for getting trained nurses from elsewhere.
