13-yr-old boy held for allegedly raping 9-Year-old girl in Mainpuri

AGRA: Manipuri police on Friday held a 13-year-old boy for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl.According to police the alleged rape occurred two days back when the girl was alone at home. Police officials said that the suspect had threatened the girl with dire consequences in case she tells anyone about the incident. The suspects had lured her to his house and committed the crime.However, she informed her mother about the incident on Thursday night after which a complaint was lodged. Boy will be produced before juvenile justice board The suspect is a neighbour of the survivor.Officials said the suspect, who stays with his parents in Kashiram colony , was nabbed soon after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint.Preliminary investigations have revealed that the suspect had lured the girl with a “silver” ring and when she entered in his room, he allegedly raped her.SP Mainpuri, Rajesh S said that case has been registered under sections 376 (rape) of IPC and 3/4 POCSO Act.
