AGRA: A 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a man in front of her husband near the Mathura Refinery on Tuesday while they were travelling to Gurgaon in a truck on National Highway-2.According to police, the victim couple had taken a lift in the truck for Gurgaon on Monday night from Etawah . He said teams had been formed to nab the accused. When they reached Mathura, three men allegedly attacked them when the truck driver, Rajesh Kumar stopped the vehicle on the highway around 2:30 am for relieving himself.According to victim’s husband, the suspects took away his mobile phone and cash and one of them allegedly raped his wife thrice. He told the police that when he and the truck driver opposed, they beat them up.A case has been registered under section 376 (rape), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation), 394 (causing hurt in committing robbery) of IPC at Kosikala police station.Mathura SSP, Babloo Kumar said that victim had been sent for medical examination and further investigations were on.
