Agra: A dead body of a 20-year-old unidentified woman was found lying in a field in village Jhandipur, Mathura, on Thursday.According to police, the body was discovered by a passerby and he alerted the police at around 8am. He said that though the body is yet to be identified, the deceased appeared to be from a well-off family. The body has been sent for post mortem.Station house officer of Raya police Station, Sanjeev Chaudhary, said that it is suspected that the woman’s throat was slit with a sharp-edged weapon and her body was then thrown in the field. A case of murder has been registered against unknown persons.
