AGRA: At least 10 cows were mowed down by a speeding train on Bhandai-Udi Morh rail track The incident took place on Wednesday night at around 10pm near Gajaura village (close to Manikpura Halt railway station) of Basai Araila police jurisdiction in Agra district On Thursday, the bovine were cremated by the district administration.According to railway Agra division , 245 cattle were mowed down on railway track between April to September month on Palwal-Dholpur section of 190 km. Most cattle were killed in the month of July (69), followed by 57 in August, 43 in June, 41 in May and 35 in April. Due to such a huge number of cattle run over by trains on the stretch, a total of 410 trains were delayed for 5,212 minutes (86.86 hours) in 152 days.
