Repairs of Guru ka Taal pipeline delayed will begin after 1 wk

Agra: Brace for more delay in repairing of a major leak in the main water supply line under the Guru ka Taal rail overbridge. Later, the repairing work was delayed following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city on January 9 to address a public rally. Jal Sansthan officials said a 200-meter portion of the pipeline was damaged and needed to be replaced. The tendering process will be completed within next one week.”Meanwhile, several localities in the city connected to Lohamandi water works station continue to receive inadequate water supply. As a result, for the past 15 days, several localities in the city have been reeling under inadequate water supply.The Jal Sansthan had issued a short notice e-tender for repairing the pipeline.
