Nashik teen rescued by Agra RPF with Rs 2 lakh cash

Agra: A 17-year-old boy was rescued by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) from Agra Cantonment railway station with Rs 2 lakh cash. The teen is a resident of an area which comes under Bhadrakali police jurisdiction in Nashik district of Maharashtra. He was carrying a small bag which had Rs 2 lakh cash in it. After verifying with Nashik police and his family members, the boy was handed over to his uncle.” According to RPF, the boy was rescued form the platform and was distressed.Speaking to TOI, RPF’s Agra Cantt SHO VK Pachauri said, “At the time of patrolling our two constables — Manmohan and Omprakash — found the teen crying at the platform.

According to RPF, the boy was rescued form the platform and was distressed.Speaking to TOI, RPF’s Agra Cantt SHO VK Pachauri said, “At the time of patrolling our two constables — Manmohan and Omprakash — found the teen crying at the platform. The boy neither had a mobile phone nor was in a condition to share his residential details. He was carrying a small bag which had Rs 2 lakh cash in it. He was brought to police station and was given food.”“After questioning him for hours, the boy told that his maternal uncle lived in Pakki Sarai colony of Tajganj, Agra. Since we didn’t have the exact address of his uncle, the RPF team knocked every door of the colony and managed to meet the boy’s distant relative,” SHO added.Officer Pachauri said, “The boy hails from a business family in Nashik who own a big dairy firm. After verifying with Nashik police and his family members, the boy was handed over to his uncle.”
