Sources said that police have registered a case against them under various provisions of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, Food Safety and Standards Act, Arms Act, Environment Conservation Act and the relevant sections of IPC. The Mantola slaughterhouse is non-operational as a case pending in the National Green Tribunal.
