AMC fixes rate for door-to-door garbage collection from April 1

Small shops will be charged Rs 60 and marriage houses will be charged Rs 2 per kg solid waste. Agra: The Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC) administration is planning to collect charges for garbage collection from all residential, commercial, government premises and street vendors from April 1. Meat shops owners will be charged Rs 830, hotels with 20 beds will have to Rs 3160. Schools with more than 500 students will have to pay Rs 3,190 and medium level business premises, including cinema halls, will have to pay Rs 1,270 per month. “For better sanitation and hygiene we don’t have any issue to pay Rs 50 per month.
