Team of 10 technical experts at Katra ramleela committee had designed special sets for various Ramleela episodes like the birth of Goddess Sita, Sita haran, exile of Lord Ram, Laxman and Goddess Sita, and Lanka dahan.

Technical expert, Abhishek Kant said “Apart from designing special sets, we will be using special effects. This year, however, we couldn’t get enough time for preparation, but are trying our best to add as diverse special effects as possible in the Ramleela episodes.”

“Every year, we used to start preparing about one-and-a-half months prior to the dates of Ramleela shows, but this year, we only had a fortnight to complete the preparations,” said Abhishek, adding, “A 10-member-technical team is working overtime to finish off all preparations.”

It is associated with many Ramleela groups since the past 18 years and having played various Ramleela characters for more than 12 years.

Abhishek said, “I started working on special sets seven years ago, and since then, have been working as a technical expert.”
