Our CorrespondentTarn Taran August 17Three of a family from Jodhpur village have been booked by the Patti city police for abducting a teenaged girl by luring to marry her. The accused had been identified as Harpreet Singh Happy his brother Lovepreet Singh and mother Kulwant Kaur Kanti. The father of the victim in his complaint to the police said the accused Harpreet Singh who had a mala fide intention for his daughter lured her on the pretext of marrying her and abducted her on August 9. The family of the victim tried to locate her but failed. Sub-Inspector Amreek Singh said the accused had been booked under Section 363366-A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and further action and been initiated in this regard.
