40 kg heroin smuggled from Pakistan seized on border in Amritsar

Tribune News ServiceAmritsar August 21The Amritsar rural police in a joint operation with the Border Security Force on Saturday seized 40kg heroin. The seizure was made at the Panj Grayan border out post falling under Ramdass police station. SSP Gulneet Singh Khurana confirmed the seizure. According to police around 50 rounds were fired as the Pakistani smugglers were pushing in the drugs. A long plastic pipe was also seized.
