Jarange completes tour, taken to hospital in Sambhajinagar

CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR: Ignoring medical advice, Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange completed the last leg of the phase-IV of his statewide tour on Tuesday and reached Antarwali Sarati village, where he took a halt for some time. He then travelled to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where he was admitted to a private hospital.Jarange was seen struggling to walk during different public rallies and had to take the help of his colleagues.The activist, however, continued with his impassioned speeches.He appealed to the Maratha community members to ensure that all political leaders, who either oppose Maratha reservation or do not raise their voice in favour of the reservation, should not taste electoral victory. Jarange also said the state government, within two days, should answer why deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis did not keep his promise of withdrawing all cases registered against Maratha community members across the state.He said the ministers who were part of the delegation that came to Antarwali Sarati should not forget that the mutually agreed-upon date for granting blanket reservation to the Maratha community was December 24.
