Aurangabad: A dispute between two groups over a plot of land took a violent turn late on Thursday night, when two youths were beaten up and one of them was allegedly pushed from the Malik Amber flyover by the rivals at the Town Hall in the city.Shakeel Ismail Shaikh of Husain Colony sustained multiple injuries after falling from the flyover and was admitted to a private hospital, police said. Ismail's friend, Sohail Bawazir of Katkat Gate, has lodged a complaint with the Begumpura police station.Police said that Sohail had sold a plot to one Guddu for Rs 3.5 lakh, but he was dilly-dallying on registering the sale deed with an alleged intention of cheating him.Guddu, along with his friend, Abdul Latif, and two others reached Sohail's place in Katkat Gate area. Following an argument, the two groups started exchanging blows, police said.While Guddu was taken to hospital by his friends, Sohail lodged a complaint with the Jinsi police station, took a medical memo and went to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).Sohail was returning from hospital on a motorcycle with his friend, Shaikh Kaleem, when he met the rival group on the flyover and a fight ensued, police said."During the fight, Kaleem was allegedly pushed down from the flyover by the rivals. Sohail pretended to fall unconscious and woke up only after the youths left the spot. He then went to the Begumpura police station and lodged the complaint," police said.
