The Shahjahanpur: Sashastra Seema Bal(SSB) have caught three persons at Lakhimpur Kheri district, near Indo-Nepal border, for smuggling items like shoes, clothes and cosmetics from Nepal to India via pillar 12.During interrogation, they told SSB that they were paid money by a person to transport the cartons through secret routes on the border. We are now searching for the main accused who is running this smuggling racket." All of them were handed over to Gaurifanta police on Saturday evening.SHO Gaurifanta police station Dinesh Mishra said, “Three accused were handed over to us for attempting to smuggle items across the border on the instructions of a man. Two of the accused are Nepalese, while one is from Palia city. The market prize of the seized items is over Rs 1 lakh.
