Bareilly's Jat Regiment Centre celebrates 223rd Raising Day

Jat Regiment Centre celebrated its 223rd Raising Day recently, with a Regimental Parade, a religious ceremony, a sainik sammelan, a veterans' reunion followed by tribute to martyrs at the War Memorial. During the event, Jat recruits displayed a power turnout, which was commanded by recruit Vikas Veer. The celebrations began with a parade and recruits attired in ceremonial Jat Regiment uniform. The colonel of the Regiment also felicitated meritorious recruits who excelled in various fields of military training. Lt Gen SK Saini in his address wished all ranks and their families the very best for their glorious future and applauded Jat soldiers for excelling in all fields.

The celebrations began with a parade and recruits attired in ceremonial Jat Regiment uniform. During the event, Jat recruits displayed a power turnout, which was commanded by recruit Vikas Veer. The parade comprised of ten marching contingents. The highlight of the parade was the synchronized parade by the soldiers. Soldiers march at the Regiment Parade In a befitting ceremony, Lt General SK Saini, AVSM, YSM, VSM, GOC-in-C, along with Southern Command and Colonel of the Jat Regiment reviewed the parade and complimented soldiers for being committed to the cause. The parade was witnessed by civil and military dignitaries, including NCC Cadets and students from various schools. Lt Gen SK Saini in his address wished all ranks and their families the very best for their glorious future and applauded Jat soldiers for excelling in all fields. He also applauded the acts of bravery and gallant sacrifices of the ranks of the Regiment and further called upon them to dedicate themselves to the motto of ‘Jat Balwan, Jai Bhagwan’ and strive for excellence. The colonel of the Regiment also felicitated meritorious recruits who excelled in various fields of military training.
