Bareilly: It was a narrow escape for 45 students of a private institute after a bus they were travelling in caught fire following a collision with a bike near Faridpur toll plaza under Faridpur police station area on Thursday. While all the children were reported to be safe, the father and son travelling on the bike were injured. The driver of the bus fled from the spot.Faridpur police station house officer (SHO), Satish Kumar, said, “Injured people have been identified as Rakesh Kumar, 52, and his son Ravi Kumar, 25, a resident of Faridpur town under Faridpur police station. Ravi was riding the bike and his father Rakesh was riding pillion. They were going to Bareilly market from their house.”“After receiving information about the incident from a passer-by, we rushed to the spot along with a fire brigade team. We are yet to receive a complaint,” Kumar added.
