Bareilly students visit the sets of a crime show, learn about different aspects of TV industry

The students learnt about different aspects of shooting - video editing, lighting technology and other techniques.Piyush, a first-year student, said, "I am interested in filmmaking and this visit was an amazing learning experience for me. "Akhil Saxena, a second-year student, said, "We saw from close quarters how things work on the sets of a TV show. It gave me an insight into what goes into the making of an episode of a TV show. Lokesh adds, "The episode, which was being shot on the day of our visit, was all about harassment of women at workplace and women trafficking. It was a fun learning experience for Mass Communication students of Invertis University as they travelled to Delhi to attend a workshop on the sets of a crime show, Savdhaan India.

The students learnt about different aspects of shooting - video editing, lighting technology and other techniques.Piyush, a first-year student, said, "I am interested in filmmaking and this visit was an amazing learning experience for me. It gave me an insight into what goes into the making of an episode of a TV show. I learnt about different techniques, be it about editing a video, cinematography and much more."Lokesh Kumar Shu kla, a second-year student, said, "It was a great visit. I met director of the show, Sanjay Verma, and I learnt a lot talking to him. I was unaware that it takes 10 days to shoot a half-an-hour show!" Lokesh adds, "The episode, which was being shot on the day of our visit, was all about harassment of women at workplace and women trafficking."Akhil Saxena, a second-year student, said, "We saw from close quarters how things work on the sets of a TV show. I am sure that what we learnt that day will go a long way in helping us when we seek internships with production houses." Akhil adds, "During the shoot, we also got a chance to meet actor Manoj Bakshi - who played the role of a Pakistani army officer in Bajrangi Bhaijaan . He shared his experiences of working with Salman Khan and also shared acting tips with us."
