Bareilly: In yet another incident of track damage, a possible train mishap was averted after a fractured piece was detected near Dalpatpur railway station in Moradabad district on Tuesday. On April 15, the Lucknow-bound Rajya Rani Express train was derailed on the same track near Rampur station, which had left more than 10 passengers injured. As soon as the patrol team spotted it, repair work was initiated. The fractured track, of around 10 inches, and pandrol clips (which join the track with the sleepers), were found scattered at the spot.
