Murder of pani puri vendor: Three held

The police have arrested three people in connection with the murder of a pani puri vendor in Kurubarahalli in Bengaluru. The trio allegedly stabbed him to death in the couple’s house late on Thursday night. Fed up of the arguments, Anitha allegedly plotted to kill him with the help of Roshan. Police claim that Anita and Roshan got to know each other through Facebook and intended to marry. Her husband got to know about this and would argue with his wife over this issue.

The arrested have been identified as Anitha, 22, wife of the deceased; her paramour Roshan, who is from Mysuru; and his friend Somaraju, 27, a native of Chamrajnagar, police said. The victim, Narasimha Murthy, was married to Anitha seven years ago. They have a five-year-old son. Police claim that Anita and Roshan got to know each other through Facebook and intended to marry. Her husband got to know about this and would argue with his wife over this issue. Fed up of the arguments, Anitha allegedly plotted to kill him with the help of Roshan. The trio allegedly stabbed him to death in the couple’s house late on Thursday night.
