BENGALURU: The BJP meeting scheduled on Sunday for a postmortem on the bypoll losses in Nanjangud and Gundlupet has been restricted to only those leaders who campaigned in both the constituencies for more than 10 days.This may trigger another cold war between party state president B S Yeddyurappa and opposition leader in the legislative council K S Eshwarappa , who was not present during the entire campaign period."The meeting will delve into the details of what went wrong for the party in the bypolls. As Eshwarappa was not there for the entire campaign period, he is not going to attend," said a party source.However, Eshwarappa said the party president had called him to at tend the meeting but due to prior commitments he could not attend."I am on a tour from Shivamogga with 3,000 women from the micro-finance sector from the district. I am in Muradeshwar now and will be going to Kollur and Udupi. I was informed about the meeting, but since I am reaching Shivamogga only late Sunday night, I will not be attending," he said.
