B.S. Yeddyurappa’s aide named prime accused in attempt to kidnap case

The police had questioned Santosh, BJP Yuva Morcha Bengaluru unit general secretary Rajendra Urs and several others in the case. Yeddyurappa, as the prime accused in the attempted kidnap of Vinay, personal assistant of senior BJP leader K.S. Santosh, personal assistant of State BJP president B.S. “We will file a supplementary charge sheet after analysing his mobile phone records,” said the police. DCP (North) Chethan Singh Rathore said that they are yet to analyse Santosh’s call record details, as he is yet to hand over his mobile phone.

To date, 12 people, including Santosh who is out on bail, have been arrested. The police confirmed that the charge sheet was filed in court. ACP of Malleswaram Sub Division Anand Badiger, who headed the investigation, filed the charge sheet.
