Jahangirabad police station busted a vehicle thief gang, the master mind of the gang used to commit crimes through minor boys; 5 two-wheeler vehicles worth Rs 2.5 lakh were recovered in the action. Police said that based on the complainants report that the motorcycle was stolen on January 30, 2024, a complaint was lodged against an unknown vehicle thief. Members of the vehicle theft gang stole a vehicle park in front of the complainants house. After checking 4 dozen CCTV footages along with the complainant. Identification of unknown vehicle thieves was done on the basis of CCTV footage. The accused absconding from Berasia turned out to be the mastermind of vehicle thieves. The mastermind of vehicle theft, Adil used to do recce to steal the vehicle, he used minor children for vehicle theft. Stolen vehicles including stolen motorcycles. Stolen vehicles from police station MP Nagar, police station Habibganj and police station Govindpura, worth an estimated Rs 2.50 lakh  have been recovered. Since the incident took place in Vasundhara Colony under Jahangirabad area and CCTV cameras were installed by the residents in the said area for security, the complainant was taken along and a route map of the routes leading from the complainants house was prepared and the CCTV footage was scrutinized by the staff in which Adil Resident Arjun Nagar flour mill was identified and as there was no concrete reason for coming to Vasundhara Colony at untimely time, Adil was surrounded and arrested. When asked for his name and address when taken into custody, his name was Adil, father Shakir, age 23 years, resident-slum. No. 123 Arjun Nagar, near Maidamil, police station MP Nagar. When the staff asked the suspect Adil about his daily routine and meetings since January 30, 2024 and the reason for coming to Vasundhara Colony at night, he broke down and disclosed that the incident of vehicle theft was being organized with the help of minor children. Taking action as per law, the police took action as per the instructions of the accused 1 motorcycle was stolen from Jahangirabad,  2 from MP Nagar area , 2 from Habibganj area, 1 from Govindpura area worth about Rs. 2.5 lakh has been recovered. In the investigation of the case, on the basis of technical analysis and information, the accused was caught and the crime registered in Jahangirabad police station was revealed by investigating where he stayed from morning to night, where he went, where he slept, etc.
