Three young friends died due to drowning in Bhopal. The incident took place at Ghoda Pachad Dam of Bilkhiriya. On Thursday, 7 friends from Pipliya Pende Khan and Bagh Sevaniya had come here for a picnic. First, they prepared food and ate it, then everyone started taking baths. During this time a young man Arjun started drowning in deep water. Nitin, Sanjay and Ajay went to save him. They also started drowning. Somehow Ajay came out. During this time other friends came out and asked for help. Police, Municipal Corporation and SDRF team reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and conducted a search operation. After 2 hours the bodies of Nitin and Sanjay were fished out. But, Arjun could not be found. Searching started again on Friday morning. His body was recovered from the dam itself at 9.30 am. The last rites of all three were performed on Thursday at Pipliya Pende Khan, Bagh Sevaniya village. After postmortem the bodies were handed over to the relatives.  The funeral procession of all three was taken out together. In the afternoon, all three were cremated at the crematorium in the village itself. Villagers say that there was a deep friendship between Arjun, Nitin and Sanjay. All three used to come and go together. The body of Arjun Malviya, who drowned in the dam, was recovered on Friday morning. According to Bilkhiriya police station in-charge Virendra Sen, Pipliya Pende Khan and Bagh Sevaniya residents Sanjay Mehra (26), Nitin Nabarde (23) and Arjun Malviya (20) along with their four more friends Durgesh Ghadge, Shubham Ahire, Sumit Sakle and Ajay Dankse around evening. Went for a picnic at Ghoda Pachad Dam at 4 in the afternoon. All these three had reached the dam on bikes. All the youths first prepared food and had food. Then at around 6.00 pm  went into the water to take a bath. Chetan, brother of Sanjay Mehra who drowned in the dam, told that they had gone to the dam to wash utensils after eating. From there these people went to take a bath. There was a group of people where they were taking baths. One companion drowned. Three youths had gone to save him. Of these, 3 drowned. One Ajay Dankse somehow came out. His condition is serious.
