Medical students from MP trapped in Bishkek, Chief Minister assures their safe return

More than 1200 medical students from Madhya Pradesh are trapped in the ongoing violence and unrest in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan; Chief Minister Mohan Yadav talked to these students through video call to take stock of the situation. Students told to CM that they need their exams to be conduted online. On this the CM said, The government is worried about you. The government is with you. You study by staying in the hostel. Exam is going to happen soon. After this there will be a break of two and a half months. Then we will call you home. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Yadav talked Rohit Panchal, Ravi Sarathe and Vivek Sharma studying in Kyrgyzstan about the situation there. Assuring full help, he talked about returning to India. The CM said, Pakistani students had a dispute with the local people in Kyrgyzstan. The children of India are also worried. I have talked to children from Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch and other places of Madhya Pradesh. They are safe. The Government of Madhya Pradesh is continuously talking to the Government of Kyrgyzstan while contacting the Government of India. CM Yadav said, It has been decided that the children should be called back only after their examination. Otherwise they will suffer losses for the entire year. There is also a question of childrens lives, so we have talked to the administration there that in any case, the exams should be conducted on time. Full care should be taken for their safety. It is hoped that the situation will become normal as soon as possible. I am in touch with the parents of the children. CM Mohan Yadav said that about 30,000 children from India are studying there. Of these, more than 1200 are from Madhya Pradesh. When there is a local conflict, there is some tension but all the children are safe there. Everyone is in the hostel. There are complete police arrangements. We all know that as much as we worry about the exam, we also worry about our life and property. Our officers are in constant touch.
