The dry run for COVID was conducted at a health centre in Sector-16 of Haryana’s Panchkula.

The primary aim of the dry run exercise was to conduct end-to-end testing of Covid-19 vaccination roll-out, so as to identify the challenges, which further help in formulating detailed plans for the actual implementation of the rollout and also provide confidence to programme managers at various levels.

According to Panchkula chief medical officer, at every centre, a team of five members will do data entry, take an old history of the person, will help him/her download the app, administer the vaccine and keep the patient under observation for 30 minutes.
