AIADMK man erecting flagpole electrocuted in Chennai

CHENNAI: An AIADMK worker who was erecting a flagpole was electrocuted when it came into contact with an overhead power cable at Mappedu near Selaiyur on the outskirts of Chennai on Monday.Police identified the deceased as Selvaraj, 25.Selvaraj and other party workers were reinstalling the flagpole after painting it on the occasion of party founder and former Tamil Nadu chief minister M G Ramachandran's birth centenary.
