Dehradun: Stolen mobile phones operating in Pakistan, 3 gang members arrested

Twenty mobiles stolen from HP enterprises were recovered from them".During interrogation, the accused told the police that these mobiles were sold to them at throwaway prices by a gang which used to sell stolen mobiles to them earlier too. RUDRAPUR: Three weeks after unknown burglars looted a mobile shop located at Kashipur bypass, the city police have arrested three shopkeepers from the national capital region and have recovered twenty out of the 70 stolen mobiles and Rs 20,000 cash from them. Police raided two shops there and arrested Mohammad Qasim and Mohammad Azad along with their accomplice Raees Ahmad, a resident of Ghaziabad (UP). As per the complainant, burglars had decamped with 70 mobile phones, 105 chargers, 150 earphones and 100 data cables of various brands amounting approximately Rs 12 lakh.Date said, "The stolen phones were put on surveillance and were located in Jama Masjid market near Red Fort in Delhi.

However, the police is yet to arrest the gang that decamped with the valuables worth Rs 12 lakh from the shop.District's Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sadanand Date while divulging the information said that on July 18, Harpal Singh had filed a complaint with the police that his mobile shop 'HP Enterprises' located at Kashipur bypass was looted by unidentified burglars during night hours. As per the complainant, burglars had decamped with 70 mobile phones, 105 chargers, 150 earphones and 100 data cables of various brands amounting approximately Rs 12 lakh.Date said, "The stolen phones were put on surveillance and were located in Jama Masjid market near Red Fort in Delhi.
