Rudrapur: The fourth edition of Uttarakhand State Olympic Games was inaugurated in Rudrapur by general secretary of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), Rajeev Mehta, on Saturday.The four-day event, organised by the Uttarakhand Olympic Association (UOA), will see the participation of over 5,000 athletes from the 13 districts in 25 sports such as archery, athletics, badminton, basketball, boxing, chess, lawn tennis, net ball, body building and wrestling.Addressing the athletes, Mehta said that the state has got tremendous talent in the field of sports.
