Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Polices Special Task Force (STF) and Delhi Polices Special Cell arrested Sushil Kumar, a close associate of Canada-based terrorist Arsh Dalla, in Haridwar on Monday.Kumar was allegedly involved in supplying weapons to shooters associated with Dalla. He was also booked at Manglore police station in Haridwar district for reportedly making an extortion call to a local trader on behalf of Dalla.Senior superintendent of police, STF, Ayush Agrawal, said Kumars arrest followed the interrogation of four shooters associated with the Dalla gang by the special cell on Sunday.Rajpreet Singh, one of the shooters, disclosed he had sought refuge at Kumars residence in Haridwar from January to July after committing a murder in Punjab earlier this year. Agrawal added that Kumar, in communication with Dalla through the Signal app, had made the extortion call to the trader on Dallas instructions, Agarwal said.
