Commandant’s Parade held at IMA in Doon

Dehradun: The Commandants Parade was held at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun on Thursday ahead of the Passing out Parade (POP) to be held on Saturday. IMA commandant Lt Gen Vijay Kumar Mishra, who reviewed the parade, complimented the 343 gentlemen cadets (GCs), including 29 from 12 friendly nations, for the immaculate turnout and excellent drill movement that reflected a huge level of motivation, pride and cohesion.Mishra commended the efforts by all in facing prevailing challenges while successfully progressing the training without any dilution. Advising the to-be young officers, the Commandant said, The world is constantly evolving, and it is your duty to stay ahead of the curve, adapting to new technologies, strategies and tactics.Seek opportunities to refine your skills, broaden your perspective and enhance your understanding of the complex challenges that lie ahead to become visionary military leaders.The Brigade of the Guards medal for the officer cadet for best in service subjects was presented to Akash Kaswan. The Chief of Army Staff banner was awarded to Naushera Company for standing overall second in the Inter Company Championship.
