Dehradun: At the inauguration of the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit on Friday, PM Modi urged the youth to start a campaign -- Wed in India -- along the lines of Make in India. I want to ask the millionaires, billionaires and wealthy people... why do they start their married life by hosting wedding ceremonies abroad? Why dont they plan a destination wedding in India?The PM added, Whether you invest here or not, but decide to organise at least one destination wedding for your family in Uttarakhand in the next five years. This helps in strengthening our idea of Vocal for Local and Local for Global. He added that it will also help fulfil his commitment of making two crore rural women lakhpati didis in the time to come.Encouraging small investors and venture capitalists, he urged, You should explore such local products in the state.
