The State government under chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken various decisions during the past two years to ensure welfare of youth, women and various segments of society. Women Empowerment and Child Development and Sports and Youth Welfare minister Rekha Arya said this while addressing the media in Almora on the completion of two years in office by the Dhami government. She said that the implementation of strict anti-copying law in Uttarakhand is driving out the mafia which was facilitating the use of unfair means in competitive exams for various government jobs. The minister expressed confidence that Uttarakhand will emerge as a leading State in the country by achieving all round development and fulfilling the aspirations of the people under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The State government is committed to continuing the developmental journey of Uttarakhand, she said.
