BJYM to organize blood donation camp on National Youth Day

BJYM will also organize New voters registration campaign especially focusing on ‘Millennium Voters’ meaning the young voters who were born in the year 2000.

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) National President Poonam Mahajan chaired a meeting of National Office bearers at the party headquarters in Delhi today.  BJP National General Secretary, Ram Lal was also present at the meeting and spoke to the Karyakartas. 

Starting January 12th, which is celebrated as National Youth Day in honour of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, Yuva Morcha will organize blood donation camps in all states and prepare a nationwide directory of blood donors. This drive will culminate on January 23rd which marks the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. 

BJYM will also organize New voters registration campaign especially focusing on ‘Millennium Voters’ meaning the young voters who were born in the year 2000. A mobile application supported by a media and social media campaign will be used to take this drive at the grassroots level. Through the ‘College Connect’ program, Yuva Morcha will Connect to College students across the country with the party’s and Narendra Modi’s vision of New India. Reiterating the party president’s idea of strengthening of each booth, a ‘Booth Connect’ program will also be launched making extensive and effective use of social media and WhatsApp groups. 

BJP General Secretary (sangathan) Ram Lal lauded the Yuva Morcha’s efforts and its role in strengthening the party’s position calling it the organisation’s frontal wing.  During ‘Mann Ki Baat’ PM Narendra Modi has time and again talked about his expectations from the country’s youth in the nation-building process. By connecting with the youngest voters and introducing them to the ideology and vision of Bharatiya Janta Party, will help strengthen the party and help in BJP’s mission 2019.

In the meeting, Incharges of all National Committees and State Yuva Morcha presidents presented a detailed update of the organisational work done by them in the past year. Poonam Mahajan urged all office bearers to step up their efforts and concertedly work towards achieving organisational goals.
