Robber killed while attempting to flee after snatching phone

A 21-year-old alleged robber was killed when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle while attempting to flee after allegedly snatching a phone in south-east Delhi’s Okhla Industrial Area on Friday. The police said that the alleged robber has been identified as Sandeep, a resident of Govindpuri. He died on the spot,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-East) Chinmoy Biswal. The police said that the alleged robber has been identified as Sandeep, a resident of Govindpuri. “The post-mortem is due to be conducted,” said Mr. Biswal. The police said the stolen phone was recovered from Sandeep’s possession. Sumit, who suffered injuries, was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he is undergoing treatment. “We have registered a case and are looking for the absconding accused,” the DCP added.
