Robber killed while attempting to flee after snatching phone

A 21-year-old alleged robber was killed when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle while attempting to flee after allegedly snatching a phone in south-east Delhi’s Okhla Industrial Area on Friday.
The police said that the alleged robber has been identified as Sandeep, a resident of Govindpuri.
Stolen phone recovered“The snatchers stopped the bike at a red light and the pillion rider attempted to flee but was hit by an unidentified vehicle.
The police said that Sumit Yadav (17) was walking towards C-Lal Chowk when two bike-borne men snatched his phone and fled.
“Sumit caught hold of the motorcycle from the back in an attempt to catch them and was dragged along.
