Earthquake felt in Delhi NCR, magnitude 6.1 recorded at epicenter

Tremors were sharply felt at the epicentre in Afghanistan recorded 6.1 in the Richter scale.

Tremors of an earthquake have been reported in Delhi-NCR. First reports were received from Uttar Pradesh’s Noida. The tremors were felt repeatedly for around 1 minute. Strong tremors were felt in Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Arunachal Pradesh.

Tremors were sharply felt at the epicentre in Afghanistan recorded 6.1 in the Richter scale.  The earthquake struck 270 km (167 miles) northeast of Kabul in the Hindukush mountains, at a deep 180 km, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.

No casualties have been reported!
